Replacement Certificate of Incorporation
If you registered your company with Simple Formations and require a replacement Certificate of Incorporation please access your account to view your documents. We retain an archive of company documents produced by our system and the certificate of incorporation is available for all companies.
You may prefer to purchase a printed version of your company's certificate. The certificate is provided on the required card and is effectively an original document that will be accepted by banks and other organisations. To order your printed replacement certificate please visit our shop.
If you selected a formation package which did not include hard copy documents you can also order the original hard copy certificate here.
We can only supply free electronic replacement certificates for companies registered through Simple Formations. If you did not register with us please order a certified copy instead.

What type of replacement certificate do you need?
Non Certified Standard Certificate
If you registered your company online using Simple Formations then you can access your certificate of incorporation online. Login to your account and print or save your own copy.
Alternatively you may want the certificate printed by us on Companies House card and posted to your preferred address.
Using Companies House approved card we will print a quality copy of the certificate and post this to you in the UK or anywhere in the world.
If we did not register your company or LLP you can download a 'scan' copy of your incorporation documents directly from Companies House. However, the quality of the certificate is not the same as printing an original document.

Solicitor Certified Copy
If we formed your company for you we can reproduce a certificate on the correct Companies House card. We can then arrange for our solicitor to certify this as an original document for you.
Alternatively if you did not register your company with Simple Formations and require a replacement certificate of incorporation then we can either download a scan copy of your certificate from Companies House or you can email us your electronic copy. This document can then be certified by our solicitor as a true copy.
Solicitor certified documents are often required when you need to provide evidence your company is registered to an overseas authority.

Companies House Certification
Formal replacement certificates of incorporation can be purchased from Companies House.
We can order a certified copy of your certificate of incorporation directly from Companies House. This document is printed on the standard Companies House card and is signed by one the registrars.
The certified copy is as good as the original and should be accepted as if it were the original document by any interested parties.
This version of the certificate of incorporation may be required by overseas government offices or organisations. We can also legalise this document with the apostille certificate.
