Registered Office FAQ's

We are pleased to provide several addresses for our customers to use as their company’s registered address. Choose from our addresses in Coventry, London and Edinburgh.

UK companies, LLPs, and PLCs must have an effective registered office address. Limited Partnerships have to provide ‘principal place of business’ which is similar to the registered office.

The registered office is the official address of the company. This is held on record by Companies House and displayed on the public register. Companies House and HMRC will send the company’s notices to this address.

The two main authorities that write to a company at the registered office are Companies House and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). In addition to this your company may receive mail from the National Statistics Office.

The registered office address of a company is changed by filing form AD01.

Companies incorporated in the UK must have an address that is recorded by Companies House as the official address. This is called the companies registered office and there are legal requirements that company directors need to adhere to.

You can use our address at Companies House and RM Revenue and Customs. We will forward mail received from these organisations to you.
