Will my company need company registers and statutory books?

All UK registered companies are required to keep a set of company registers.

Company registers, often called the statutory books, are files containing the details that a limited company is required by law to record. This includes a list of company members, the register of directors and secretaries, and details of any mortgages or charges held on company property.

All of our new company formation packages provide a set of registers as standard. These are provided in electronic format for you to print or save on your own system. Customers selecting a ‘printed package’ will receive a set with their other company documents in the post.

If you need a register for an existing company you can order a hard back bound set of registers online.
