Who can be a company director?
All company directors must be at least 16 years old. There is no upper age limit. If you try to appoint a director that is not at least 16 years old the company formation will be rejected.
Directors can live anywhere in the world.
The company directors of a UK company can be residents of any country. There are currently no restrictions on directors living anywhere in the world.
Please note. If you do form a company with non UK citizens that have no credit history in the UK you may not be able to obtain a UK bank account for the business.
