Making an application on behalf of someone else makes you are an intermediary. More info here...

If you place an order to register a company or LLP on behalf of someone else then you may be considered an intermediary. An example of an intermediary is an accountant or solicitor. AML regulations require us to treat intermediaries as our customer and identify them in addition to identifying the persons connected to the application to form a company or LLP. Our system will request some additional information to allow us to start intermediary checks. We may then ask you to supply additional documents. Repeat customers are not required to supply intermediary data for each application unless information changes. We may carry out occasional reviews of intermediaries.
